Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to find, book and manage their knee scooter rental on this website.

Our commitment

MobilityNearMe.com “Operated by Stellar Medical Supplies LLC” rents knee scooters to people who are recovering, adapting or living with a disability, so an accessible website is part of the service, not an extra. We want everyone to be able to browse our knee scooters, check availability, book a rental and manage it afterwards, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

What we have done

  • Text and buttons are checked for color contrast so they stay readable.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are, and a “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
  • Pages use clear headings and landmarks so screen reader users can move around quickly.
  • Form fields, including the date picker and delivery search, have labels that are read aloud.
  • Images that carry information have text alternatives, and prices are always shown as text as well as in pictures.
  • The site works when zoomed to 200% and on small screens, and animations are reduced if your device asks for reduced motion.
  • We test the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand, and we fix issues as we find them.

Known limitations

Some parts of the booking process come from third parties, such as our payment provider’s card fields. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we do not control every part of their design. If anything on the site gets in your way, please tell us and we will help you complete your booking another way.
